Wendy Hennequin\u2019s <em>We&#8217;ve Created a Monster: The Strange Case of Grendel&#8217;s Mother<\/em>, which details how Grendel&#8217;s Mother is more focused upon in the modern era due to how her character thwarts gender expectations of femininity and motherhood both then and now, through her vengeful savagery against Beowulf. Since it is online, issues I might have to deal with is not being to access it during times of wifi, or the academic journal not being available. Perhaps I can download it for better purposes. Strategies I can use to protect myself from any trauma in these articles is having a nice relaxing cup of grog while I&#8217;m reading, or stepping away from some sad\/stressful parts for a couple of minutes. Since I am very familiar with the subject, I should be okay. I can also just burn my computer if it gets too hard to deal with. Ways that I can befriend an archivist at McMaster university so I will be able to go the extra mile for me includes complimenting Myron&#8217;s kickass beard, staying nice and polite, and engaging with them in their interests.
