If I present myself as a \u201clight to the world,\u201d I am asking my audience to see my divine qualities and will not blame them for observing the dissimilarities.<\/p>\n<p>To describe oneself as a victim of blood libel carries with it a <a href=\"http:\/\/thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com\/2011\/01\/12\/palin-calls-criticism-blood-libel\/?hp\">certain responsibility for proportionality<\/a>, that the seriousness of the metaphor must equate in some measure with the experience being described. While the football game between the Steelers and the Ravens has already been compared to a war \u2013 and the players to gladiators \u2013 we recognize that as traditional and hyperbolic.
