Good afternoon, It was brought to my attention that commenting is not working on blogs using the Quentin theme. Unfortunately, that theme is no longer supported (http://michaelpurdy.org/quentin/).  If you would like to use another theme from https://wordpress.org/themes/ then send an email to libweb@mcmaster.ca and provide the URL to the theme.
