Navid Jalali (He/Him)

Navid Jalali is a game enthusiast, literary editor and translator, and PhD candidate in English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Besides teaching English, he currently serves as an Editorial Assistant for Queen’s Men Editions and Early Theatre and is affiliated with a number of early modern digital humanities projects, including Linked Early Modern Drama Online and Records of Early English Drama Online. His research examines Shakespeare’s presence in new media, particularly in educational contexts. His doctoral project investigates Shakespeare literacy in the twenty-first century, with a focus on Shakespearean adaptation and appropriation in video games and the relationship between the stage and the digital space.
