The conference will take place in LRW 1057 in LR Wilson Hall on the McMaster University campus in Hamilton, ON.
Transit
McMaster University in Hamilton is well-serviced by public transit.
- GO Transit: There is a GO Bus terminal located on the McMaster campus that is serviced by several different GO Bus routes. Additionally, there are local GO Train stations at Hamilton GO, West Harbour GO, and Aldershot GO. You can find out more about GO Transit options here.
- Local transit: For local public transit within the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Street Railway (or HSR) provides frequent bus services to McMaster campus via many different routes. You can find out more about HSR bus services here.
- Bike share: Hamilton Bike Share has over 130 hubs across the city, from which you can borrow publicly accessible bikes for one-way trips! Bikes can be returned to any hub in the system, offering flexibility and efficiency. You can find out more about Hamilton Bike Share here.
Parking
The closest lot to LR Wilson Hall is the LR Wilson Underground lot. When entering campus from the Sterling Street & Forsyth Avenue entrance, you will take the first entrance on your left (after the median) to park underground.
If the sign for the LR Wilson Underground lot says, “Visitor Closed”, you will proceed to lot B, lot C, or Stadium Underground Parking.
- Turn right at the first available opportunity (Stearn Drive)
- Parking Lots B & C will be on your left – signs will indicate visitor parking availability
- If there are open visitor parking spaces, turn left at the fork and park in the available lot
- If the signs for these lots say “Visitor Closed,” continue straight along Stearn Drive
- Turn left at the stop sign in front of the Ivor Wynne Centre
- Once you have passed the David Braley Athletic Centre on your right, turn right at the second stop sign onto Michell Crescent
- Proceed straight along Michell Crescent
- Follow the signs for the Stadium Parking (under the football field)
Parking rates are $6/hour up to a $20 daily maximum for most lots on campus, including LR Wilson Underground.
