Traditional single/double room – $139/night
Includes access to secure high speed internet, two phone lines, voice mail, desk top analog data port, complimentary coffee and access to the pool and fitness centre.
Deluxe room upgrade – $154/night
Five feet wider than the traditional guestrooms offering larger washrooms, a sitting area and more space to move around.
Club level upgrade – $179/night
This upgrade includes: a full breakfast buffet; free local, toll free and credit card calls; bottled spring water; upgraded amenities, toiletries and furnishings; access to the club lounge throughout the day for complimentary coffee, tea and snacks as well as evening hors d’oeuvres.
The above rates may be extended to 2 days before and 2 days following the conference, subject to availability.
Check-in: 3pm
Check-out: 12pm
I’m currently on the phone with the reservations agent from the Sheraton, and she claims the special conference rate only applies on October 1-4. This is frustrating, as those of us who live very far away can’t really fly out on the 4th.

Sorry for the frustration. The room rate does apply to 2 days prior to the conference and 2 days following. If you phone the reservations line now, you should be able to get the rate for those days. I really apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any further difficulties, please feel free to contact me directly.
If you missed the deadline and you are employed by a government agency, ask for the “government rate” — ours is booked at $119/room.
