Title Learning in the 21st Century
Description  We will look at how digital technologies change the way we go about creating and communicating knowledge – in other words, the second “L” in Digital Literacy for Learning. How can digital tools help us with metacognition (thinking… about thinking). We’ll also look at how new possibilities for collaboration, publication and visualization of data have opened up for teaching, learning and research through activities of digital scholarship.
Learning Outcomes By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Identify learning theories and strategies that resonate with them
  • Recognize and practice metacognitive skills
  • Deconstruct and describe characteristics of digital scholarship projects
