The Big Picture

The Big Picture module covers the following topics:

  • Metacognition
  • Attitude
  • Goal setting
  • Exercise and sleep

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:

  • Use thinking in a goal-directed, purposeful way
  • Identify and use strategies to improve their attitude towards learning
  • Recognize the importance of goal setting and identify a set of short and long-term learning goals (will prompt them to actually do this)
  • Reflect on how regular exercise and adequate sleep can protect the brain’s memory and thinking skills (*may include tracking/reflection activity)
