Description	Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching and learning materials that are freely available online for everyone to use, whether you are an instructor, student or self-learner. This module will explore the reasons why many educators (and learners) are adopting the open education philosophy, as well as equip you with the tools to vet OERs for their quality and reusability.
Learning Outcomes	By the end of this module, learners will be able to: describe openness in education evaluate open education resources for learning purposes apply a framework to an open education resource within an area of interest and repurpose it.
