An amazing father-son project: launching a weather balloon with an iPhone attached and recording its ascent to 100,000 feet before plunging back to earth. A riveting seven minutes of video. (The actual launch begins at 2:20.)
I find this entertaining insofar as my I’ve aquired a rudimentary foundation in Physics, but developed a taste for both theoretical and aplication based physics. I wonder though, why was it an iPhone? What, if any, were the logistical reasons for the iPhone?
I think it’s because it has an app for space travel.
Of course it has an app for space travel! Hahaha!
